Train Alliance area in Tillberga/Västerås on consultation
The zoning plan for the Train Alliance property Hedensberg 7:52 at Tillberga, just north of Västerås, has been sent out for consultation. The plan will enable rail-related activities, other activities and a solar park on the 915,000 sqm area.
In most of the planning area, it is proposed to be possible to establish businesses, such as service, manufacturing, warehouses and workshops. Some of the activities may be directly linked to the railway, with a connection to the existing railway south of the area.
Rail-related activities mean activities that have a need for or a connection with the railway or rail traffic. For example, it can be maintenance of locomotives and wagons, facilities with their own track connections and manufacturing/storage with a need for transport by rail.
The consultation will run until 22 December. During the consultation, input is collected from the public and authorities. If necessary, the zoning plan is thereafter revised and
new views are collected, after which the plan is adopted by the building committee. Before it gains legal force, there is a period when it is possible to appeal the zoning plan.
