Land securing

To create security during the process, we offer the option of reserving land areas for future use for a fee. Such land securing provides space to calmly conduct a detailed investigation and planning before a final decision on establishment needs to be made.

Land

Train Alliance has rail-connected land for development in several locations in the Mälardalen region, as well as in many other locations around the country.

Significant land areas for development are available in Västerås, Hallsberg, and Sigtuna. We can also offer rail-connected land in Malmö, Borlänge, and Luleå/Boden.

Västerås

In the Tillberga Hedensberg 7:52 area just north of Västerås, Train Alliance has 915,000 square meters of land connected to railway. The land is in an attractive location with direct access to railway and a short distance to the E18 for incoming goods or for onward transport by road to Västerås and Stockholm. The planning work, which began in 2023, which is being carried out in close cooperation with the municipality of Västerås is progressing at a good pace.

At the location we can offer customized solutions for rail-connected logistics for both large and small quantities of goods. There are also opportunities to build maintenance facilities for rail vehicles in the area. As Train Alliance owns and manages the infrastructure in the area, we can develop the rail infrastructure ourselves, which gives us considerable flexibility in the design of the area.
